Day School

LAST DAY SCHEDULE:  Students will meet in their classrooms at the regular time on Friday morning, June 6th.  The students and teachers will come together in the gym for a prayer service at 10:00 a.m.  Parents may join us!  Following prayer, students will return to their classrooms to receive report cards.  They will be dismissed from school at 11:30 a.m.

CLASS LISTS FOR 2008-2009:  Class lists for grades 1-8 will be e-mailed to school parents during the week of June 9th.  Kindergarten class lists will be e-mailed to parents in early August.

STAFF CHANGES:  A number of school staff members will be leaving our SFX family.  We thank them for their dedicated service to our school community, and ask God to bless them as they leave us.

Mrs. Rose Mannion
, Assistant Principal
Mr. Patrick Neville, 8th Grade Literature & Language Arts Teacher
Mrs. Glenna Powers, Middle School Spanish Teacher

In addition, we express gratitude to two long-term substitute teachers who have been with us this year:

Mr. Leo Bauer, Middle School Religion
Mrs. Kristina Crandall, 8th Grade Math

A few other staff changes are also in process.  Mrs. Donielle Jarzen is returning to the classroom following two years as Assistant Principal, and Mrs. Tess Bezouska will become the Middle School Religion teacher.

GRADUATION ACTIVITIES:  The Class of 2008 has eaten dinner and received awards.  They’ve danced the night away and ridden the roller coasters at Great America.  They’ve received their diplomas and a great many congratulations from their families and parish school community. THANK YOU to all of the parent committees that helped to make the graduation events special and memorable for our graduates.  And, of course, congratulations to our 2008 graduates.
